Welcome to the Office of Family & Community Engagement.

At Minneapolis Public Schools, we are proud to partner with families and the greater community to ensure the best possible education for all our children.

You know us through many points of contact, whether it be our Student Placement Centers, when you enroll your child in school; parent meetings and community forums, at which your input is highly valued; or via the Ombudsperson, who supports resolution of your concerns.

The face of our office also extends to our network of family liaisons, who facilitate communication between schools and families, and it extends to those who staff MPS family resource centers, where information on services and programs supporting parenting and family assistance is yours for the asking.

OFCE Mission Statement: The Office of Family and Community Engagement builds the capacity of MPS, school, staff, families, students and the community to establish partnerships that strengthen student learning and improve schools.
