The Minneapolis Public Schools Title I Parent Advisory Council is looking for new members.  They have set up an informational meeting for CPEO parents who may be interested in serving on the committee or learning more about it.  The Informational meeting will be held on  Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Mona Mode Early Childhood Center, 2400 Girard Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55411. Please use the upper level entrance, door #14.  Childcare will be provided and light refreshments will be served. 

Achieve MPLS is hosting an "Our Cities Our Schools" Education forum on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. The topic is school integration--focusing on the impact that policies and choices have on our MPS families.  All CPEO parents are invited to attend the forum. In addition, we are looking for 2-3 people to participate as presenters/panel members.  Each parent presenter will have 5-10 minutes to tell their story about how integration has shaped their MPS experience--the challenges, strengths, outcomes and take-aways of your experience.  If you are interested in being a parent presenter, please call Damon Gunn at 612-668-2095
